the spots are not taken by our students.
To schedule rotations, students can contact Lynne Lura at: l-lura@umn.edu

The University of Georgia Behavior Service operates year-round and sees
cases five days a week, with the exception of major holidays and a few
occasions such as the joint AVMA/ACVB/AVSAB meetings.  We regularly take
senior externs on a space available basis.  Only two students can be on
the service at any one time, and UGA students have first choice of
slots.

We will be offering a senior elective rotation in behavior beginning
this May.  We do not have as high a case load as some of the other
universities since we only have one practicing behaviorist.

The University of California Veterinary Medical Center- San Diego
Behavior Service has externship opportunities for veterinary students.
We are a division of the University of California Davis School of
Veterinary Medicine located in Northern San Diego County, in
beautiful, balmy Southern California.  The UCVMC-SD Behavior Service has
a fairly high case-load.  Cases are seen by a Board Certified Veterinary
Behaviorist and residents.  On-site housing is available.
If you are interested please contact me via email at
lbergman@ucdavis.edu.  (Don't worry about the automated reply that I'm
out on leave- I'll get back to you when the baby lets me.),
Laurie Bergman, VMD, DACVB
Coordinator
UCVMC-SD Behavior Service
