We all know that as our pets get older they are more likely to develop disease. But at what age does this become likely and what are the more common diseases? Generally speaking, pets of any age can harbor intestinal parasites and fleas and are susceptible to urinary tract infections and diabetes. As pets approach their middle years, four to seven years of age, they are more likely to develop thyroid gland disease, adrenal gland disease, splenic disease or glaucoma. Senior pets, over the age of seven, are additionally at higher risk for kidney, liver, heart and lung disease. |

benefit of participation in this program is early disease detection. The
sooner we become aware of a problem the earlier we can begin treatment which
translates to a longer life span, less discomfort, and lower veterinary
bills by avoiding crisis situations. We believe so strongly in the benefits
of this program that we are willing to offer our services at 30% off our
