OF MARKING
INSTRUCTIONS
FOR USE Urine marks should
be cleaned with clear water only, as detergents and other cleansers may
degrade the product. Feliway should then be sprayed directly onto urine
mark spots - as well as onto nearby prominent objects including furniture,
window frames and doorways. One depression of the nozzle should be applied
approximately 4" from the site, 8" from the floor. Only one
spray per application site is necessary. Urine marks and prominent objects
should be treated one to two times daily for 30 days. If the cat is
observed rubbing its own facial pheromones onto a spot, treatment at this
location is no longer needed. Maintenance application every two to three
days may be necessary in some situations. Cats demonstrating long-standing
inter-cat aggression may need a behavioral modification program and
concomitant drug therapy. CLINICAL STUDIES SUPPORT FELIWAY - short synopses |
