Hi. We are new to Liberty and my Jack Jessie has been missing since

We were informed by our
house sitter that one of our dogs went missing Sunday, July 2nd.
She was let out into the fenced-in backyard, but slipped through the fence
and has not been seen since. She is an 11yr old white/buff
colored Lhasa Apso
female named Lily, with a short haircut (recently groomed) and a wee bit snaggle-toothed (she also has a couple of
age-related skin tags on her back). Lily is a small dog, in general
weighing between 12 and 15 pounds, and is spayed. I have attached a
recent picture of Lily here.
Lily was not wearing
her collar at the time, and is slightly lame in both hind legs (some
muscles have atrophied) but can run short distances and even jump when
excited. We think she may have been frightened by neighborhood fireworks,
as Lily is terrified of loud noises, especially thunder. Lily is a
barker, but friendly, with a sweet disposition, although she is bossy
around other dogs and tends to chase cats.
We have a $50 reward
for her as well. Any information we can obtain about our Lily would be
greatly appreciated. I realize your audience can be a distance from
Greenwood, but our house sitter claims there were many visitors to the
neighborhood that evening and we thought maybe one of them may have
brought Lily to their “home” shelter.

Blue’s never been out of the house before. He must have slipped by when
one of us was going through a door. Before when he’s tried going through
doors to the outside or to the garage, he’s always been talkative, so we’d
just reach down and pick him up. This time he didn’t make any noise. He
has all his claws and fast reflexes but no street smarts, never been in a
real fight. He has a chronic sinus condition. Never having been outside
before along with the sinus condition will make it very hard for him to
find his way home if he’s still outdoors. Hopefully someone picked him up,
so at least he’ll be safe. And whoever found him might take him to a
veterinarian when his nose starts getting runny. If a veterinarian knew
the cat was a stray, maybe he would scan for a micro-chip I.D.

I have lost my cat and I am contacting all the
shelters/vets in the area to let them know about Timmy. He is declawed in
the front and neutered. He was wearing a black collar with a pink heart
ID tag as well as a "little angel" charm. These may no longer be on him
for some reason?? He has a spot on his nose and on one of his paws his
pad colors alternate. One is pink the other is black, etc. If you have
any info or think you might have him please contact me. He has been
missing since Tuesday Jan. 18th when he got out of the house somehow.

The Thursday before Christmas (Dec 23rd)
two of our dogs got out of our garage. One of them, a brindle boxer,
was picked up about 15 minutes within getting out and brought to
Wayside Waifs in Grandview. The other one is still missing.
My heart is just broken. She is a 2 1/2
year old beagle/daschound mix. Her name is Babers. She is mostly
brown but a little black throughout her coat. She had a red collar with
dog prints on. She is quite a barker, and was also in heat when she
escaped.
The boxer was picked up near 163rd St. and
Kentucky View in Belton Missouri on Dec. 23rd, 2004. As of yesterday,
12/ 31/ 04.............the beagle hasn't shown up at Wayside Waifs. I'm
hoping someone picked her up. Please, if anyone knows anything about her
whereabouts, please, please, please...........contact us at

Lost 2 neutered males on Dec 11 in rural
Paola. These dogs ran away to go chase when I visited my brother in the
vicinity of Harmony and 343 St. They are both mixes, both black, both
fairly longish hair. One weighs about 85 pounds and one weighs about 40
pounds. I got them both from the Humane Society and the smaller one has a
lot of "issues" from prior abuse. He will bark and snarl, but probably
would not bite anyone but if he is hurt or tired he would have to be
treated with caution. The big one is very friendly to anyone.
I am almost positive they would stay
together. They are both wearing blue collars and the smaller one still
had a leash attached to his collar when he took off. We love these dogs and would love to have

FOUNDSky is a 6 month old Purebred Border
Collie. She slipped off a leash and unfortunately out of her collar at
Shawnee Mission Parkway and Quivira. She is missed terribly by my 4
year old son and my other puppy. She is my baby. I have called all the
shelters and the area vets, but she isn't anywhere. She slipped away on
Dec 1 about 2:00pm. She is a medium rough coat, so her hair is not as
long as a traditional border collie, but she has the blaze, the white
collar, the white feet and a white tip on her tail. She is a very
cautious puppy, as she didn't get much attention from previous owners.
She will always come for food, and knows how to sit and lay down for
treats. She is a sweet dog, and I'm really worried about her. She is
starting to get a skin disease that will make her lose all of her hair.
I have the medicine here, but she got away before I could give it to
her. We all miss her, if I had the money, I would offer a reward. She

Dude, a 6 year old American bobtail cat,
slipped away in the vicinity of 23rd & Noland in Independence on
11/3/04. He is a large, short-hair, with only a stub of a tail. His
face is grey, black and brown beautiful tiger-stripe, with a dark back.
His chin, chest and stomach are white and he has white boots on the back
feet and white slippers on the front feet.
He wears no collar, but is very friendly
and sweet. We are worried about him in this cold weather. Have
notified all the vets in that area and keep looking at the Animal

We lost our 2 year old Male Beagle/Blue
Heeler mix on Sunday night. We are near 95th and Mission road, so he
